Ironman Custom Controller

Comissioned by an Ironman enthusiast and collector, this build was one of our most challenging and satisfying. After initial back and forward with the design process the overall aesthetics of this Playstation 4 controller was based on the Ironman Mk 43 armour from Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron. 

The colour scheme of the controller is the unmistakable gloss red, gold and silver that is synonymous with Marvel's playboy, billionaire. All of the panel lines were hand engraved to give a higher level of details than just painting. The controller also features light up eyes on the back utilising the PS4 controllers light-bar.

The build was painted with Australian made SMS durable lacquer paints for a high quality finish and then detailed with some light weathering and battle damage.
