Zelda Switch Pro Custom Controller

This highly detailed Nintendo Switch Pro controller was built for the winner of our AVCON 2018 competition.

As a huge fan of the Zelda franchise it took very little time to decide that the theme of the controller would be based on the latest game in the series, Breath of the Wild. Wanting to incorporate the Silent Princess Flower from the game as well as the stone ruin look, we set to work designing a few concepts (below).

After settling on the first concept we set about creating the controller. Featuring a hand sculpted flower, stone block front and back, aged gold, moss and both of the games iconic logos on the handles, this is one of our most detailed builds to date.

The build was painted with Australian made SMS durable lacquer paints for a high quality finish and then detailed with some light weathering, moss and aged gold.
